Jamie Ellen De Oliveira
HER Story
Jamie Ellen De Oliveira, born in Chicago, Illinois, was raised in a Jewish family. Her mother had been on Broadway in various musicals, and Jamie had always thought she would follow in her mother’s footsteps, but God had another plan! Coming to faith in her Messiah in 1981, Jamie turned from a life of singing in clubs, and dinner theatres to singing for Him!
Jamie has traveled and performed for the last 40+ years as a Messianic Recording Artist. She is on the (now syndicated), Messianic TV Program “Jewish Jewels” (now on the “Jewish Jewels” Youtube Channel), and has sung live on local and National TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network), and “100 Huntley Street” in Canada. She has ministered at many congregations and conferences in the U.S. and Israel. These conferences include the “Feast of Tabernacles” (Sukkot) Celebration with the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ), and the “Shavuot” (Festival of Weeks) Conferences in Jerusalem, as well as the National Religious Broadcaster’s (NRB) Conference in Washington, DC, Indianapolis 1990 Conference, the End-Time Handmaiden’s Conference (Gwen Shaw), the (MJAA) Messianic Jewish Alliance of America International Conference, the MJAA Southeast Regional Conference, the Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations National Conference (UMJC), the Washington Summit for Israel and the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, DC., the Trump International Hotel in Washington, DC in a musical event entitled:“Esther, Sweet Esther” to celebrate Israel’s 70th anniversary, and to commemorate President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and to move the U.S. Embassy there. Dr. Ben Carson was the esteemed Guest of Honor. Jamie is the soloist since 2006 for the Nova Southeastern (NSU) Commencement Ceremonies, and has performed with the Hollywood Philharmonic.
Presently, Jamie is playing the role of Miriam (Yeshua’s Mother), in “Mendel’s Messiah,” written by Jeremiah & Wendy Ginsberg, adapted from the musical, into a screenplay. As well, Jamie teaches voice privately, and is married to Eduardo De Oliveira, and has a daughter Rachel, son-in-law Jake, and grandson Lucas.
Jamie Ellen is on the team of “SistHERS of Zion” as a soloist and the music leader and can’t wait to see the amazing things that will happen with this beautiful group of women that God has put together!
