She earned her Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Alabama in 1975 and became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida in 1996.

Midge’s expertise includes Imago Relational Therapy, Family Systems, Personality Styles, and Boundaries, making her a dynamic speaker for businesses, nonprofits, and professional organizations. She also supervises psychotherapists working toward state licensure, leveraging her extensive education and post-graduate training to shape the next generation of mental health professionals.

In addition to her extensive Family Systems training, Midge is a Florida Supreme Court-approved Family Mediator, an esteemed designation that certifies her expertise in conflict resolution, mediation processes and techniques, psychological challenges related to separation and divorce, and the unique needs of children in the context of co-parenting and custody agreements.
